I have the honour to report that I yesterday cieved the special vascination campaign so far as the land population of Hongkong and Kewleon is concerned with the exception of immigrants from Casten by beat or train.

2. I contemplate continuing the facilities for these immigrants and also for the harbour population until the spidemic show clearer signs of abating. I am satisfied that we can do no more de regards residents: for whom the

Superintendent of Vascination should now

3. With

exception of Cheung Chan where 100 were

dise; Ha Long where 850 have been done; and Ben Tin where 200 were done by special request I have not touched the

New Territories,

The total number vascinated by my emergency staff and unpaid volunteers with free lymph since November 1st is 350,000; of which 220,000 were dene in Victoria; 75,000 in Lewison Peninsula and 45,000 'en rents' by train or steamer frün Canton,

Breluding the immigrants, these figures represent census population of Victoria, and 61% of that of Kowloon Peninsula; and, if the immigrants are included,

combined cemeus population.

In addition I have been notified of 11,000 done lymph at various hospitals and institutions;

by private practitioners during November alene; and by a private vaccinatér fer a fee, ▲ conservative estimate of vaecimtions done privately during December and

2,

might be 10,000.

This gives a grand total of 390,000 consus pegulation of Visteria and Kowloon. I imagine in fast some 75% of the actual population have been vaccinated.
